The 2024 'For a Green Hai Duong City' Run took place this morning with 91 groups and about 3,000 participants.
On the morning of October 27, at Thong Nhat Square, Le Thanh Nghi Ward, Hai Duong City People's Committee organized the opening ceremony of the collective race "For a green Hai Duong City" in 2024.
The tournament had 91 teams of athletes with about 3,000 people from 5 groups: Primary schools, secondary schools, high schools - vocational schools, armed forces and ward and commune groups.
This is an annual race of Hai Duong City. The 2024 collective race "For a green Hai Duong City" is one of a series of activities to celebrate the 220th anniversary of the founding of Thanh Dong (1804 - 2024), the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Hai Duong City (October 30, 1954 - October 30, 2024) and respond to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".
After the opening ceremony, leaders of some departments, branches and Hai Duong City participated in the response run. The athlete groups took turns participating in the group run. This is a demonstration race, scoring is based on the number of participants in each group, costumes, formation, running technique, not counting the running time.
The tournament ended at noon on the same day. The organizing committee awarded souvenir flags to the participating teams and 91 prizes to the teams with high achievements, including 13 first prizes, 32 second prizes and 46 third prizes.
