Gia Loc District (Hai Duong) will renovate 5 class 3 markets in the area to make it more convenient for people to buy and sell.
According to the Gia Loc District Construction Investment Project Management Board, from the beginning of March, the board will renovate 5 class 3 markets in the district including: Rong (Nhat Quang commune), Dong Tai (Thong Kenh commune), Doan Thuong (Doan Thuong commune), Anh (Le Loi commune), Buom (Yet Kieu commune).
The renovated items include: rebuilding the drainage system, sales kiosks, renovating the market floor, roofing with heat-resistant corrugated iron, toilets, canopies, parking lots, internal roads in the market... The total investment cost is 6.8 billion VND, from targeted additional capital from the provincial budget (according to Resolution No. 21/2023/NQ-HDND dated December 8, 2023 of the Provincial People's Council) and public investment capital from the district budget for the period 2021 - 2025. These projects are expected to be completed and put into use in June.
The renovation of the above markets aims to overcome the current degraded situation, creating convenience for people to buy and sell and do business at the market.
