Many rural markets in the province currently have degraded facilities.
According to the Department of Industry and Trade, up to now, in the province, there are still 86 out of 125 rural markets (not including markets in localities that have been converted to wards and towns) that have not been considered for infrastructure construction support, accounting for 68.8%.
Many items: market grounds, internal roads, drainage systems, lighting systems, market houses and sheds... have seriously degraded, failing to fully meet the requirements of fire prevention, fire fighting, environmental sanitation, and food hygiene and safety.
