Geely Coolray officially launched in Vietnam, price from 538 million VND

On March 21, Geely Vietnam officially launched the B-size SUV Coolray at Tasco Mall, Hanoi. This event also marked the appearance of the Geely brand in the Vietnamese market. Currently, the Chinese car company has established a network of 15 dealers and plans to expand to 50 dealers this year.

In September 2024, Geely and its partner Tasco Auto also announced the establishment of a joint venture and CKD assembly plant project in Vietnam and are expected to deliver the first vehicles to customers in 2026.

Geely Coolray 2025 is a B-size SUV with a sporty, powerful style, suitable for young customers. The car has an aerodynamic design with an "Expanding Cosmos" grille, modern LED headlights, sharp bodywork and 18-inch alloy wheels. The rear of the car stands out with a large spoiler integrated into the roof.

Inside the interior, Geely Coolray has a modern and quite high-class space with many equipments such as: 10.25 inch dual screen for entertainment screen and instrument cluster, D-Cut sports steering wheel, luxurious leather seats, panoramic sunroof, support for Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connection....

All versions of the Geely Coolray are equipped with a 1.5L turbocharged engine, with a capacity of 177 horsepower and 255 Nm of torque, accompanied by a 7-speed wet DCT gearbox and front-wheel drive. The car is capable of accelerating from 0 - 100 km / h in just 7.9 seconds, quite good in the B-size SUV segment.

In addition, the car also possesses a series of advanced safety technologies such as: Lane keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control (ACC), traffic jam assist, smart headlights, smart parking assist, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, blind spot warning...

With a 5-year or 150,000 km warranty, Geely Coolray is distributed in Vietnam with three versions with specific prices as follows: Standard - 538 million VND, Premium - 578 million VND and Flagship - 628 million VND.

Besides Coolray, Geely also launched two new models: Monjaro and EX5, competing in the D-size SUV and pure electric SUV segments, but these cars currently do not have official prices and are planned to be distributed in the next few months.

In particular, Momjaro has a strong appearance and a spacious, high-class interior and many advanced driving support technologies, the car is equipped with a 4-wheel drive system with a capacity of 238 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, EX5 has a battery pack with a capacity of 60.2 kWh, a travel range of 430 km, supports DC fast charging 30 - 80% in 20 minutes, along with a modern interior with eco-leather, a large central screen and smart safety technology.
