Chairman of Thanh Mien District People's Committee Nhu Van Cuc has just issued a decision to fine a business household 31 million VND for causing environmental pollution.
Decision to fine Ngoc Tien business establishment in An Khoi village, Tu Cuong commune
Previously, on November 8, 2022, the inspection team of Thanh Mien district discovered that Ngoc Tien business establishment (specializing in manufacturing plastic toys) in An Khoi village, Tu Cuong commune discharged wastewater into the environment without being re-issued a license as prescribed. The owner of this business is Mr. Nguyen Quang Cuong (born in 1979, also in An Khoi village). The District People's Committee requested Mr. Nguyen Quang Cuong to promptly take measures to remedy the environmental pollution and report the results to the authorities as prescribed.
Previously, Thanh Mien District People's Committee fined 2 businesses and a livestock household a total of more than 200 million VND, all for environmental pollution.
