At Song Cam Shipbuilding Joint Stock Company, 51 workers with mild symptoms (itching, red face, mild headache...) are being monitored at the company.

According to the report of Hai Phong Department of Health, the number of meals is 795 with the following dishes: braised chicken, peanuts with oil, braised sea fish, grilled lolot leaves, boiled green squash, spinach soup, rice, watermelon for dessert and divided into 2 menus. Of which, 400 meals have the menu of braised mackerel, grilled lolot leaves, green squash, spinach soup, rice, watermelon; the remaining meals have the menu of braised chicken, peanuts, green squash, spinach soup, watermelon.

Thanh Hung Service Company Limited, located in Dang Cuong Commune (An Duong District) is a meal provider. This is a food service enterprise (collective kitchen).

According to the investigation and quick report of Song Cam Shipbuilding Joint Stock Company, most of the workers with the above symptoms had eaten braised sea fish on the menu. The workers' health is gradually stabilizing.

The Director of the Department of Health directs medical facilities in the city, and directors of units directly direct relevant departments to be ready to receive patients, evaluate and classify cases, and regularly monitor treatment in clinical departments.

Closely monitor patients with severe illness and those at risk of worsening, be ready to consult with a higher level or transfer to a higher level when necessary, and pay attention to health care and encourage patients and their families.

Relevant units updated information on the number of patients suspected of food poisoning at Song Cam Shipbuilding Joint Stock Company admitted to the hospital, the number of severe, critical, and severe patients, and the number of patients who improved and recovered (discharged from the hospital).

The Director of the Hai Phong Department of Health also directed the Food Safety and Hygiene Department to organize an investigation to determine the cause of the incident according to regulations, trace the origin of the food, take food samples and specimens for testing to find the cause.
