About 100 workers in Dong Nai hospitalized for suspected food poisoning

According to initial information, at around 7:30 p.m. on May 15, Trang Bom District Medical Center began receiving nearly 100 workers of Dechang Limited Liability Company (located in Giang Dien Industrial Park, Trang Bom District, Dong Nai) hospitalized for treatment with symptoms of suspected food poisoning such as abdominal pain, vomiting, etc.

Some workers said they had dinner with dishes such as crab rice noodles, chicken Quang noodles... After eating, they started having symptoms of stomach pain and nausea and were taken to the emergency room by people around them.

Upon receiving the patient, Trang Bom District Medical Center quickly deployed the maximum number of medical staff to focus on treating the patients. Of the nearly 100 patients with suspected poisoning symptoms, over 60 are currently being treated at the hospital, while some patients have been examined, received medication, and returned home to monitor their health.

Dong Nai Department of Health said that immediately after recording the incident, Dong Nai province's functional forces quickly arrived and took food samples for testing to find the cause.

The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
