Ford car lines such as Ranger, Everest, Territory, Explorer all have preferential registration fees or cash incentives of up to hundreds of millions of VND in October.
In October, Ford's most expensive SUV, the Explorer (VND2.099 billion), received a 50% discount on registration fees, equivalent to a reduction of about VND100-125 million. The same incentive is also available for the Territory (VND799-929 million), with a reduction of about VND40-55 million depending on the locality where the vehicle is sold.
Ford Everest Sport, Titanium, Titanium Plus versions are all reduced by 22 million VND. Meanwhile, the Ambiente version priced at 1.099 billion VND is entitled to a 100% discount on registration fees, which means a reduction of about 100-131 million VND depending on the locality of the license plate.
For Ford’s best-selling model, the Ranger (VND669-1,039 million), the incentive is 50% of the registration fee for all versions. This incentive is equivalent to a reduction of VND20-37 million, depending on the location of purchase. At the dealership, depending on the customer’s determination, the sales staff can reduce an additional VND5-10 million to push the goods quickly.
Since the Government's registration fee incentives were implemented in September, many car manufacturers have not only not cut promotions but have continued to maintain them to boost sales for the last months of 2024. Ford is the same, the company has reduced prices for many car models in the form of registration fee incentives or cash.
After the first 8 months of 2024, Ford is the third best-selling brand in the passenger car market after Toyota and Hyundai, reaching 24,071 vehicles. The Ranger pickup truck alone currently dominates the domestic car market with sales of 10,293 vehicles.
