Every early spring, relic sites and temples in Hai Duong welcome tens of thousands of visitors from all over the country to offer incense and pray for a peaceful and lucky new year. Joining the pilgrims to Cao An Phu temple (Kinh Mon town), Ms. Pham Thi Hue and a group of friends from Thai Thinh ward wore red ao dai to burn incense and pray for luck and prosperity in the new year.

Ms. Bui Thi Huong in Hong Lac commune (Thanh Ha) shared: "My friends and I buy new ao dai every year to go to pagodas and wear on important occasions. This year we ordered designs of ao dai that lean more towards traditional style with hand-embroidered details."

From Luong Tai (Bac Ninh) to her maternal hometown in Cam Giang to celebrate Tet, Ms. Vu Thi Ha Phuong also took the opportunity to go to Mao Dien Temple of Literature to ask for calligraphy on the first day of spring. Although she is very young, Ha Phuong is especially excited to wear traditional costumes to sacred places.
