Phat Tich Pagoda

Phat Tich Pagoda is located on Lan Kha Mountain, Phat Tich Commune, Tien Du District. The entrance to the pagoda has a lot of green space with layers of ferns growing interspersed on the stone floor, combined with the pine hill space to create a peaceful feeling.

According to folk beliefs, the pagoda was built on a high mountain to avoid noise, suitable for those who love Buddhism and practice. In the pagoda, there are many architectural works, art and sculptures, the most prominent of which is the Amitabha Buddha statue and the statues of ten sacred animals carved in stone (5 pairs of horses, elephants, buffaloes, rhinoceroses, lions), dating back to the Ly Dynasty, which have been recognized as national treasures.

Visiting the pagoda, from about 3 km away, visitors can see two large architectural works located on the top of the mountain. The pagoda festival is held from the 3rd to the 5th of Tet every year, suitable for visitors to come to worship and enjoy spring.

Dau Pagoda (also known as Dien Ung Pagoda) is said to make all prayers come true. The pagoda is located in Thanh Khuong ward, Thuan Thanh town.

Currently, Dau Pagoda holds the record: The first Zen temple in Vietnam and the oldest temple in the history of Vietnamese religion (recognized by the Vietnam Record Book Center), with the fusion of Indian Buddhism and the indigenous beliefs of ancient Vietnamese people through the worship of the Four Dharmas. The pagoda also preserves the Buddha statues of Phap Van - Phap Vu, part of the system of Four Dharma statues in the Lau - Luy Lau region, which are recognized as national treasures.

Over time, Dau Pagoda has always been an attractive destination for Buddhists nationwide. Visitors coming here feel like they are returning to the origin of Buddha, finding peace and tranquility in life.

But Thap Pagoda is located in But Thap village, Dinh To commune, Thuan Thanh town. This is one of the few ancient pagodas with unique architecture and sculpture that is still preserved quite intact.

The overall architecture is a model of harmonious combination of brick, wood and stone materials in harmony with the natural environment. The pagoda has a system of large Buddha statues, four groups of national treasures (the statue of the Thousand-eyed and Thousand-armed Buddha, the Three Worlds and Worlds statues, the Incense Altar and the Nine-grade Lotus Throne) and exquisite carvings.

In But Thap Pagoda, there are many types of trees such as frangipani, lotus, peony, especially areca. The rows of green areca trees stretch straight next to the tower, creating a peaceful space.
