On the morning of March 20, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hai Duong coordinated with Thanh Ha district to organize a conference to discuss the plan to organize the opening ceremony of lychee garden for export; lychee picking contest and ribbon cutting ceremony for Thanh Ha lychee export in 2024.

The conference agreed to organize the above events on the morning of May 20 with about 300 guests attending. In particular, the opening ceremony of the lychee garden for export and the lychee picking competition will be held in Thanh Quang commune (Thanh Ha). The new feature this year is that the ribbon cutting ceremony for Thanh Ha lychee export will be held at Cao Xa station, Cao An commune (Cam Giang), an international transit station.

This event aims to highlight the promotion of Thanh Ha litchi in particular and Hai Duong province in general, helping to facilitate the consumption of litchi in 2024 and the following years.

The event also aims to promote and advertise lychee tourism to domestic and foreign tourists. Promote trade, promote quality and brand, thereby stimulating domestic and export consumption of Thanh Ha lychee.

In 2024, Thanh Ha district will have 3,285 hectares of lychee, including about 1,700 hectares of early lychee (accounting for nearly 52% of the total area of ​​the district), 167 growing area codes for export.
