Visitors are allowed to hold and test fire guns at the Vietnam Defense Exhibition.

Attending the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 on the first day of the event, many delegates and guests were able to hold guns, look at them, and test-fire them for points.

After the grand opening ceremony of the 2024 International Defense Exhibition, from the early afternoon of December 19, thousands of delegates and guests spread out to Gia Lam Airport - the venue to visit equipment, weapons and many other military devices.

The total exhibition area is more than 100,000 square meters, with an indoor area of ​​15,000 square meters (twice as large as the event held in 2022), and an outdoor area of ​​about 20,000 square meters. Pictured is a 155mm light self-propelled gun, a weapon that can attack at long distances, regardless of terrain and obstacles, with high mobility, and can be transported by road, sea and air.

The event gathered more than 200 domestic and foreign units and enterprises from more than 30 countries in ASEAN, Asia, Europe and America.

Among them are many military powers such as the US, China, Russia, UK, France, India, Israel... In the photo is the TRG-300 missile with a maximum range of 120km, from Türkiye, produced by the ROKETSAN group.

Turkish businesses this time displayed many gun models, including SAR9 pistols weighing from over 600g to over 700g, a weapon designed to hit targets in the most difficult conditions.

Attending the exhibition, representatives of the Russian Ministry of Defense not only shared achievements and experiences in researching, manufacturing, and exploiting weapons, but they also displayed real ammunition such as 30mm with remote-controlled fuses, ammunition with very strong destructive power that is not known to many people.

This time, Vietnamese defense enterprises brought to the exhibition many impressive products, attracting the attention of visitors. Among them is the UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) coded Z113, which can be installed with a hanging module to drop a bomb to destroy the target or cause local damage. In addition, it also has the function of supporting rescue work in hard-to-reach areas, forests, mountains, and dangerous cliffs.

What many customers are most interested in and excited about is being able to hold a gun and aim or try shooting it without bullets.

In the photo is the booth of a Vietnamese enterprise, introducing infantry weapons products, including pistols, submachine guns, machine guns, heavy machine guns and sniper rifles, with calibers from 5.56mm to 12.7mm.

A visitor is testing the world's leading assault rifle called CZ Bren 2 16 barrel. It is made of aluminum alloy, has a polymer trigger, and a folding stock. CZ Bren 2 is an upgraded version of the CZ 805 series that has been introduced and put into service in the Czech Republic Army since 2010.

Exhibition attendees are also invited to learn first aid to proactively prevent and minimize life-threatening risks, instructed by a professional first aid training unit - the training branch of the American Heart Association in Vietnam.
