The Prime Minister has approved and issued the Project "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income earners and industrial park workers in the 2021-2030 period" according to Decision No. 338/QD-TTg dated April 3, 2023.
Accordingly, Vietnam encourages economic sectors to develop housing to create conditions for everyone to have accommodation according to market mechanisms, meeting all people's needs.
Hai Duong has approved the Project on Social Housing Development in the province for the period 2023-2030.
According to the project, by 2030, it is expected to invest in the construction of at least 15,920 apartments. Of which, in the 2023-2025 period, 17 social housing projects will be implemented (3 projects have been assigned to investors, 14 projects are expected to be implemented, with an estimated 5,860 apartments); in the 2026-2030 period, 10,059 apartments will be implemented.
To carry out the above task, Thanh Dong Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Nam Hai Duong social housing project in the form of apartments on August 28, 2023 with 4 blocks, each block is 8 floors high (CT1 - CT2 - CT3 - CT4) on a total area of nearly 1.9 hectares. 336 apartments are diversely designed on an area of 45-76.9 m2, construction floor area of about 19,410 m2.
With modern design, optimizing living space and accompanying utilities while being synchronized with the surrounding social infrastructure system, the apartments are arranged to suit the living needs of residents when all are arranged from 2 - 3 bedrooms.
The investor has completed the topping out of buildings CT1 and CT4; buildings CT2 and CT3 are completing the topping out, and the project is expected to be accepted and handed over, and put into use in the first quarter of 2025.
