The Department of Transport requested the People's Committees of Tu Ky, Gia Loc and Ninh Giang districts to resolve problems and hand over remaining land related to National Highway 37 before August 30; complete disbursement procedures, pay compensation, and complete documents before September 30.
The National Highway 37 project has been completed and handed over for use, so according to regulations, the capital plan will only be allocated until 2023, and no capital will be allocated in 2024. Therefore, for households that have not agreed to receive money, after this time, the project will not be allocated funds for compensation.
The project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 37, nearly 24.7 km long, from Vinh Bao (Hai Phong) - Gia Loc (Hai Duong) has been implemented since 2010. In Ninh Giang district, the project is still stuck with the installation of guardrails and embankment to reinforce the left-side canal at km36+325 - km36+770 due to lack of consensus from households. In Tu Ky district, there are still 8 households and in Gia Loc district, there are 6 households that have not received compensation for site clearance.
