The National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province recently held a workshop to agree on a direction to resolve the dispute over the purchase of land that had been foreclosed by the bank for more than 4 years and had not been used in Binh Giang district.
On the morning of June 13, the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province held a workshop to agree on the direction to resolve the petition of citizen Pham Van Hieu in Binh Giang district regarding land disputes.
Comrade Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province chaired the workshop.
Also attending were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and a number of relevant departments and branches, Binh Giang district, Long Xuyen commune; representatives of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) Binh Giang district branch.
According to the petition of Mr. Pham Van Hieu, born in 1969 in Cay village, Long Xuyen commune (Binh Giang), the land dispute between Mr. Hieu's family and Mr. Tran Trong Lan (2 adjacent plots of land) has been going on for more than 4 years.
Specifically, since 2019, Mr. Hieu's family bought a 50 m2 plot of land in Cay village. This plot of land was previously auctioned by Agribank, Binh Giang district branch, because the mortgaged customer, Mr. Lan, was unable to repay the debt. However, when the land use right certificate was issued for this plot of land, a distance of about 3 m between the land boundary and provincial road 394 was not included in the red book. Mr. Lan said that the area had not been recovered and compensated by the state, so it was still under Mr. Lan's right to use and was not handed over to Mr. Hieu for use. Mr. Lan erected a corrugated iron fence in front of the plot of land, resulting in no access to the plot of land.
Speaking at the conclusion of the workshop, comrade Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province, said that the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council will conduct a supervision in the form of a workshop on civil disputes that still exist and have lasted in the province.
Regarding the petition of citizen Pham Van Hieu, comrade Le Van Hieu emphasized that this is a lesson that needs to be paid attention to throughout the province to avoid disputes. The solution to the case is to continue to conduct mediation, negotiate rights and interests between the parties involved, create consensus, and maintain neighborly feelings. Comrade Le Van Hieu requested the People's Committee of Binh Giang district to review regulations and strictly handle any violations of traffic safety corridor regulations in this case.
The National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province will issue a document instructing citizen Pham Van Hieu on his right to file a lawsuit to resolve disputes and protect his rights in accordance with the law. Comrade Le Van Hieu requested that the authorities carry out their duties as quickly as possible when citizens request it.
