The highest admission score to Hanoi Law University this year is 30/30 points for the Economic Law major.
A representative of Hanoi Law University confirmed that the highest admission score based on high school transcripts is 30/30 points for the Economic Law major, combination A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English).
This year, according to regulations, the school will not announce the admission score early, instead, it will email the results to each candidate. The email will include full information about the admission score, admission combination and instructions for candidates. Economic Law is also a major with an absolute admission score of 30/30 in 2023 in combination A01.
In addition, some other majors have quite high benchmark scores such as: Law, group A01 benchmark score is 28.1; group C00 (Literature, History, Geography) benchmark score is 28.6; group D01 (Math, Literature, English) benchmark score is 27.64.
International Commercial Law, the benchmark score for combination A01 is 29.08 points.
This year, Hanoi Law University (HLU) recruits 2,500 students by 4 methods, but 2,400 students are considered based on academic records and high school graduation exam scores.
The school maintains stable enrollment targets and methods for admission to four majors: Law, Economic Law, International Commercial Law, and English Language (majoring in Legal English).
The school’s admission methods include direct admission; consideration of candidates participating in the monthly, quarterly, and yearly rounds of the Road to Olympia contest; consideration of academic records; and based on high school graduation exam scores. Of these, nearly 2,400 out of a total of 2,500 quotas will be considered based on academic records and exam scores.
With the method of considering academic records, candidates must have excellent academic performance in all 10th and 11th grades and the first semester of 12th grade. The first semester of 12th grade results for each subject in the combination must be 7.5 points or higher. At the Dak Lak branch, candidates only need to have two semesters of excellent academic performance, and the first semester of 12th grade scores for all subjects in the combination must be 7 or higher.
Hanoi Law University converts international language certificates into foreign language scores when candidates are considered based on their academic records. For example, in English, candidates with IELTS 5.5 or higher will be awarded 9 points or higher in this subject.
The expected tuition fee for the mass programs of Hanoi Law University next school year is more than 2.5 million VND/month, equivalent to 725,000 VND/credit.
