This year, the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology applies 4 admission methods, with 5,200 quotas (4,280 quotas in 2023) for both campuses. Specifically, the admission methods are as follows:

Method 1: Talent selection (10% of target), including:

Direct admission and priority given to candidates who are members of international Olympic teams or have won national or international awards.

Admission is based on the ability records of candidates who have won prizes in the national high school excellent student selection exam (encouragement prize), provincial level (first, second, third and encouragement prize), the time of winning the prize is not more than 3 years from the time of admission or are students at specialized high schools.

Method 2: Consider the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam (50% of total target).

Method 3: Consider combining one of the following international certificates (SAT/ACT) or international English certificates (IELTS, TOEFL) with high school transcripts (accounting for 25% of the target).

Method 4: Consider the results of the competency assessment and thinking assessment exams organized by Hanoi National University, Ho Chi Minh City National University and Hanoi University of Science and Technology (15% of the target).
