On October 11, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police of Dong Nai Province Police said that the unit is actively searching for a 2-year-old boy who fell into the Buong River and went missing.
According to initial information, at around 10:30 a.m. on October 11, Ms. NMV (33 years old, residing in Phuoc Tan ward, Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai) and her son NVĐ. (2 years old) went to Buong river, near Buong river bridge to release fish.
While releasing fish, mother and child suddenly slipped and fell into the river.
At this time, the mother was lucky to grab a tree branch and escaped, but the child NVĐ was swept away by the water. Some nearby people ran to help, but the strong current swept the child away and he was lost.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police of Dong Nai Province coordinated with Bien Hoa City Police and Phuoc Tan Ward Police to arrive at the scene to search.
However, due to the deep river and strong currents, the search for the child encountered many difficulties.
As of 2:00 p.m. on October 11, authorities had still not found the missing child.
