Currently, many road markings in Hai Duong City have faded paint, making it difficult for road users to comply with regulations on stopping, parking, or driving in the correct lane.
On some routes such as Dien Bien Phu, Vu Huu, Duc Minh... many road markings, stop lines or pedestrian crossings have been blurred. Some intersections even have no road markings.
Unclear road markings make it difficult for traffic participants to observe, which can lead to violations.
The situation of blurred road markings is not only in the above mentioned places but also quite a lot in Hai Duong.
According to Decree 168/2024/ND-CP, motorcyclists and motorbike drivers who do not comply with road markings will be fined from 200,000 to 400,000 VND, and car drivers will be fined from 400,000 to 600,000 VND.
The implementation of Decree 168 is attracting public attention.
Road markings are a type of sign that guides and controls traffic participants to go in the correct lane or road section according to the provisions of the Road Traffic Law.
