That is the content in the announcement of the results of the 18th Session of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission chaired by comrade Vu Hong Hien, member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, held on August 25.
Based on the results of the investigation and verification, the Inspection Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee found that comrade Le Van Thoan, former Chief of Chi Linh City Police, in his responsibility as the head of the Party Committee, head of the agency, unit, committed a number of violations and shortcomings in leadership, management and operation, allowing the agency and unit to have a number of cadres and soldiers violate the law while performing their duties. Comparing with the Party's regulations, the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee proposed that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee take disciplinary action against comrade Le Van Thoan according to its authority.
Regarding the proposal to discipline the former Chief of Chi Linh City Police, on February 8, 2023, the Investigation Police Agency of Hai Duong Provincial Police initiated a case, prosecuted the accused, and temporarily detained 6 subjects who were former officers of the Traffic Police - Order Team of Chi Linh City Police. The accused were investigated for the crime of abusing their positions and powers while performing official duties that occurred on February 4, 2023 in Chi Linh City. The People's Court of Hai Duong Province tried and sentenced these subjects.
At the 18th Session, the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission reviewed the results of the inspection of the leadership, implementation of inspection, supervision and disciplinary actions within the Party for the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the Inspection Committee of the Kim Thanh District Party Committee; the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc.
