Nearly 1,200 works have participated in the Painting Contest 'I Love Vietnam'

The Hai Duong Province Children's Painting Contest 'I Love Vietnam' is one of the activities of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association towards the 50th anniversary of national reunification.

According to the Provincial Literature and Arts Association, as of March 25, there were 1,180 entries to the Children's Painting Contest "I Love Vietnam".

The contest was launched in January 2025 for primary and secondary school students in the province. The paintings were created by students and closely followed the theme "I love Vietnam". The paintings depict scenic spots and famous places in Hai Duong; images of people in life, labor and production; studying, building and defending the Fatherland; festivals...

Works are presented using optional color materials such as gouache, wax, oil paint, watercolor, colored markers, painting size on A3 paper, border no more than 5 cm.

Each contestant is allowed to submit 1-2 works to the Provincial Literature and Arts Association. The deadline for receiving entries is March 30.

The contest aims to promote and educate children about the nation’s historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions, praising the historical value of the struggle for national liberation, creating the great victory of liberating the South and unifying the country. From there, it helps children understand and be more proud of the nation, the country of Vietnam, and the development of Hai Duong province after 50 years of unification.

Along with this activity, according to the plan of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, to summarize 50 years of Vietnamese literature and art after the country's reunification, Hai Duong will carry out a number of other activities such as a conference to meet artists; exhibition of Hai Duong's literary and artistic achievements after the country's reunification; printing and republishing typical literary and artistic works in the period of 1975 - 2025, with high ideological and artistic value, reflecting the development of Hai Duong's literature and art over half a century; performing arts activities...
