Compulsory land acquisition for site clearance of the South Han Bridge Urban Residential Area Project

According to the People's Committee of Hai Duong City, on December 30, the functional forces of Hai Duong City will organize the compulsory recovery of 120 agricultural land plots of 107 households in residential areas No. 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 of Viet Hoa Ward to carry out site clearance for the Urban Residential Area Project South of Han Bridge.

The total area of ​​land forcibly recovered is more than 1.9 hectares.

According to the Land Clearance Board of Hai Duong City, the Urban Residential Area Project South of Han Bridge was approved by the Provincial People's Committee for detailed planning 1/500 in July 2019 with a total planning area of ​​11.5 hectares in Cam Thuong and Viet Hoa wards.

At the end of July 2019, the People's Committee of Hai Duong City issued a notice on land acquisition for this project. The project's site clearance council directed specialized agencies to coordinate with the People's Committees of Viet Hoa and Cam Thuong wards to implement land acquisition steps in accordance with the procedures and regulations of the law.

After the propaganda and mobilization process, up to now, the site clearance work has been completed for 121 households whose land was recovered in Cam Thuong ward.

In Viet Hoa ward, there are 152 households whose land must be cleared. As of December 28, 2024, there are still 108 households that have not received money according to the approved compensation and support plan, of which 1 household is not present in the locality and the authorities have not been able to contact them.

For the remaining 107 households, the authorities have repeatedly organized propaganda and mobilized households to comply with the land recovery policy, receive money and hand over the site, but these households still do not comply.

Hai Duong City authorities have taken steps to enforce land recovery in accordance with the law.
