Hai Duong City will renovate and expand more than 267m of Nguyen Trai Street and clear the land of the central urban area - area 1 of the city.
Hai Duong City People's Council has approved the investment policy decision for the project to expand Nguyen Trai Street and clear the land of the city's central urban area - area 1 (Diamond Land).
The project has a total investment capital of more than 643 billion VND from the provincial budget, city budget and other legal support sources.
The project is implemented in Nguyen Trai ward, with the City's Basic Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor. According to the investment phase, the project is divided into 2 phases, of which phase 1 is from 2024-2026; phase 2 is from 2027-2028.
According to the approved policy, Hai Duong City will renovate and expand more than 267 m of Nguyen Trai Street, the starting point connecting to Chi Lang intersection, the end of the section connecting to the current Nguyen Trai Street in front of the provincial police headquarters.
The scale of road renovation and expansion is 50 km/h; the road is made 5 m wider. The sidewalks adjacent to the Pump Factory and the Grinding Factory, Vinafood Company, and Vinh Hung Company Limited are widened 5 m on each side. Along with that, the city will renovate the drainage system, trees, and lighting on this road section.
Hai Duong City also cleared all land, residential buildings and headquarters of the Milling Factory, Vinafood Company, Vinh Hung Company Limited... within the project planning boundary.
