Cristiano Ronaldo buys Ferrari Daytona supercar worth 2.3 million USD

During his latest family visit on March 26, Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted driving an expensive Ferrari Daytona SP3 and stopping at the Four Seasons Hotel. This will be the next model that the Portuguese superstar will add to his car collection worth more than £18 million.

The Daytona SP3 chosen by Ronaldo is part of Ferrari's Icona collection, alongside two other hypercars, the Monza SP1 and SP2, which start at $2.3 million. This hypercar was designed to honor Ferrari's 1-2-3 victory at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1967. The car was launched to users in late 2021 but was only delivered to the first customers in late 2023.

The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5L V12 engine codenamed F140HC, which is based on the engine of the 812 Competizione. Although it does not have a hybrid system like the LaFerrari, this engine still produces up to 829 horsepower and 697 Nm of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed F1 dual-clutch gearbox with quicker shifts thanks to a limited-slip differential. This allows the Daytona SP3 to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.85 seconds and from 0-200 km/h in 7.4 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 340 km/h.

Similar to the models in the Icona group, the Daytona SP3 is limited to only 599 units worldwide. Of these, 499 units are prioritized for customers who own SP1 and SP2, the remaining 100 customers must pass the "profile filtering" round from Ferrari.
