Teachers - these two words seem simple but are very sacred. It will be very difficult to fully describe in words the contributions of teachers to society as well as in the hearts of us students.

“The teacher, still quietly goes home early and late/Every day, drops of sweat fall and smudge the pages/To bring me to the shore of my dreams/Then through the years, the river is long and windy and rainy/The white flower branch, still shimmers in the old garden”.

Every time I hum that song, my heart is filled with a feeling of nostalgia and excitement, thinking about those who practice the most noble of all noble professions - teaching.

“On the first day of school, my eyes were wet and blurred”. I suddenly smiled to myself when I saw myself in that song. The image of children with wet eyes, bewildered and scared, clinging tightly to their mother’s shoulders on the first day of school. At that time, the gentle teacher opened her arms to hug us, comfort us, caress us, take care of us with every meal and sleep. She is our teacher, our mother and also our nanny. How precious it is.

A little older, we took our first steps on the journey of knowledge. Teachers continued to be the ones who helped our dreams come true. Those innocent, scribbled handwritings of those days were all the love, care and patience that teachers had for us. The math problems seemed simple, but for those immature children, how could they understand them without teachers? "Without teachers, you can't do anything" is like that, starting from the most simple and familiar things.

“Although the years pass by without warning, and no matter how many seasons of leaves fall”, the children of those days are now stronger. But teachers are still silently by our side regardless of time, day, and month. The river of knowledge is getting fuller, and each ferry trip of teachers is therefore getting heavier. Teachers are still tirelessly and diligently ferrying the boat across the river. Not only that, at this capricious age, with many ambitions, many dreams but also many emotions, sometimes sad, sometimes happy, teachers are also our close friends, ready to listen, share and understand us.

Sometimes, I also come across stories and images of teachers who are willing to sacrifice their youth and bright future to contribute and sow beautiful dreams for life. Teachers do not hesitate to face difficulties and hardships to bring letters to children in the highlands. Teachers carry children on their backs over mountains and streams to reach the rickety school in the small village. Those images will surely forever be the reason for all of us to cherish and love our teachers even more.

During the days when the whole country was struggling to fight the epidemic, I saw teachers in green shirts volunteering at epidemic control checkpoints, joining forces with doctors, police, soldiers... to prevent and repel the epidemic, bringing a peaceful life to the people.

The epidemic is temporarily stable, teachers do not hesitate, personally clean and decorate the school to welcome us, the mischievous students, back to school after long holidays. Just like that, teachers every day cultivate in us the best feelings, making us love our homeland and our people more. Teachers help us to share and sympathize with our fellow human beings, with our families and society. Those good things follow us, grow every day so that when we have enough feathers and wings, we will definitely fly high and far.

"Even though the years have passed forever/Your green hair has now faded/The teacher still stands by the schoolyard that year/Watching my steps in life/Even though I count all the stars in the sky tonight/Even though I count all the fallen autumn leaves/But a thousand years, how can I count all the gratitude to my teacher?"

Teachers - those two words seem simple but are very sacred. It will be very difficult to fully describe in words the contributions of teachers in society as well as in the hearts of us students. Another season of the Teachers' Charter has come. On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, generations of students once again express their good feelings to express their deep gratitude to our teachers.
