Announcing the Logo model to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army

The Ministry of National Defense officially announced the logo model used in propaganda activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024).

In order to widely propagate and educate cadres and soldiers in the entire army and all classes in society about the glorious historical tradition of the Vietnam People's Army throughout the 80-year journey of building, fighting and growing, the logo is arranged in a harmonious and solid whole, expressing pride, honor and justice, with the spirit of always being ready to fight and win, protecting the peace, independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

The logo is designed to stand out with the image of the Victory Flag of the Vietnam People's Army - a traditional, typical image stylized as a bird of peace; along with a strong hand firmly holding a gun to protect the Fatherland - the representative image of a soldier of the Vietnam People's Army. These are the main elements closely combined with the auxiliary motifs of the number 80 years (1944 - 2024) to clarify the message about the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the Vietnam People's Army.
