Launching of propaganda painting contest to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Duc, Director of the Propaganda Department, said that the contest aims to widely propagate to cadres, party members and people of all walks of life the significance of the founding day of the Vietnam People's Army and the National Defense Day. It will widely disseminate the contributions and achievements of the armed forces and people of the whole country in the cause of building and protecting independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity. It will vividly portray the good qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", arouse the pride and patriotism of our cadres, soldiers and people in the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland, developing the country...

Authors and works need to revive the vitality of propaganda posters, continue to embellish the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers; convey meaningful messages to encourage patriotic emulation movements; arouse passion, promote creativity, and serve propaganda on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army.

The competition takes place from March 29 to July 30, 2024. Participants are professional artists, amateur artists, Vietnamese citizens and Vietnamese people living abroad.

The Organizing Committee will award certificates and prizes to the authors and winning units, including 11 prizes (1 A prize, 2 B prizes, 3 C prizes, 5 Encouragement prizes), of which the A prize is worth 30 million VND. In addition, 2 movement prizes will be awarded to units that mobilize many authors and many works of good quality.
