Announcing the S-Race 2023 with the message "For Vietnamese stature"

The S-Race has become an annual and popular activity for millions of students nationwide.

Joining hands to implement the Master Plan on physical development and stature of Vietnamese people in the period 2011-2030 and the School Health Program in the period 2021-2025, the announcement ceremony of the S-Race 2023 Student Run with the message "For Vietnamese stature" was held on the afternoon of August 4.

This is the third year the S-Race has been organized, with the coordination of the Department of Physical Education (Ministry of Education and Training), Sports Department (VTV), Unicomm Media Company (Unic), Vietnam Athletics Federation and TH Group as co-sponsors.

The S-Race has become an annual and popular activity for millions of students nationwide, encouraging them to participate in sports, connecting families, schools, and communities in physical development activities for the young generation of Vietnam.

In 2022, S-Race won a "double" record including "School race with the most students participating in Asia" and "Running race for students in both direct and online forms with the most athletes in Vietnam".

This year, S-Race 2023 includes two live events in Lam Dong (August 12, 2023) and Hai Phong (November 12, 2023), expected to attract 10,000 participants with many attractive accompanying activities.

In particular, for the first time, two S-Race Online events for a variety of audiences: students, teachers and parents... were held simultaneously in 63 provinces and cities across the country.

With the theme S-Race Online x Family - "Connecting to grow up" for students and families, S-Race Online x School - "Accompanying to move forward" for students and teachers, schools, S-Race 2023 brings a message of care for the young generation through specific actions.

Each challenge takes place over 30 days via the UpRace app. S-Race Online 2023 creates an important highlight, marking a school sports activity that receives the participation and cooperation of families and schools on a large scale, creating a strong resonance and spreading effect.

In addition, S-Race 2023 also develops a variety of activities such as: a series of response activities in provinces and cities; exciting sports festivals; meaningful activities to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day; the S-Race Impression contest inspires... thereby contributing to affirming the brand of the Asian record-breaking race, creating a valuable ecosystem, more closely connecting families with schools, teachers with students, parents with children.

Not only the footsteps on the track, S-Race 2023 also strongly spreads the sportsmanship and positive values ​​to the community through a diverse network of media ambassadors, including students, teachers, families, athletes, and celebrities who share the same concern for school health.

The S-Race 2023 competition events are divided into 3 age groups: junior high school students (11 to 14 years old); high school students (15 to 17 years old); college and university students (18 to 23 years old); The competition distance is 3 km for male students and high school male students; 1.5 km for male junior high school students, female students, and female junior high school students.

S-Race connects families with schools, teachers with students, parents with children more closely.

The expanded competition content S-Race Family (for primary school students, secondary school students in grades 6 and 7 and their families), S-Race Teacher (for teachers and secondary school students in grades 6 and 7) competes at a distance of 1 km.

The Organizing Committee will award individual prizes from First to Tenth based on the finishing achievements of each athlete in 6 competitions; 3 collective prizes (corresponding to 3 levels of education) to the unit with the most participating athletes.

Total prize of S-Race 2023 is up to 264 million VND, 1000 smart watches to help with sports training and thousands of attractive gifts from sponsors...

The first competition event of S-Race 2023 will take place in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province, broadcast live from 7:00 to 10:00 on August 12, 2023 on Vietnam Television.
