Candidates take the Ministry of Public Security's assessment exam on July 6.

On July 25, the Ministry of Public Security announced the input quality assurance threshold (floor score) of 8 police schools, with two levels.

Specifically, for the medical major of the People's Security Academy (sent to the Military Medical Academy for training), candidates must achieve a total high school graduation exam score of 3 subjects in the group of 22.5, and at the same time achieve 20/100 points on the assessment test of the Ministry of Public Security.

For other majors of the People's Security Academy and the remaining 7 schools (People's Police Academy, People's Police Politics, International, People's Security University, People's Police, Fire Prevention and Fighting, People's Police Engineering - Logistics), the floor score is 70 or higher.

The calculation formula is as follows:Floor score = (Total score of 3 graduation exam subjects) * 10/3 + Score of the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test.

If interested, candidates must register on the system of the Ministry of Education and Training.

For intermediate level, the floor score is calculated based on the high school graduation exam score. Candidates only need to achieve 10 points in 3 subjects, without coefficient, without bonus points, without failing points, to be able to register for admission.

Admission to this system is independent of the university system of the 8 police schools.

This year, 8 police schools recruited 2,150 students. In addition to using exam scores, the schools considered direct admission and combined international language certificates with high school transcripts. There were 127 candidates admitted using the above two methods.

Using exam scores, the school combines the results of the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test with the high school graduation exam scores at a ratio of 60-40 and converts them to a 30-point scale for admission consideration.

The formula for calculating admission scores is as follows:

Admission score = Total score of three graduation exams *2/5 + Assessment exam score *3/5 + Priority points according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training + Bonus points for excellent students at the national level.

Last year, the highest admission score for police schools was 24.94 (Party Building and State Administration major of the People's Public Security Academy, applicable to female candidates in the North). The lowest admission score was 14.01 (English language major of the International Academy, applicable to male candidates).
