President sends letter praising examples of saving people in flood waters

The recovery work was carried out by the authorities and people of Ta Ca commune, Muong Xen town, Ky Son district, Nghe An province, immediately after the flood receded.

On October 6, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent a letter of commendation to Vi Van Truyen, Le Minh Huong and many brave people of Hoa Son village, Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An province.

Accordingly, through the media, it is known that Mr. Vi Van Truyen, Head of Hoa Son village; Le Minh Huong and many other people have successfully tried to rescue people trapped and isolated in the flood water in Hoa Son village, Ta Ca commune, bringing the victims to a safe location. President Nguyen Xuan Phuc praised their brave actions.

The President emphasized that these are shining examples of responsibility, courage, loyalty, and promoting the nation's fine traditions, which need to be spread throughout the community and society.

In the letter, the President also shared the loss of people affected by the recent storms and floods; acknowledged, highly appreciated and hoped that Party committees and authorities at all levels would continue to make efforts to overcome difficulties, proactively respond to natural disasters, overcome the consequences of storms and floods, ensure the safety of people's lives and health, and minimize possible property damage.
