On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, President Vo Van Thuong offered incense and commemorated deceased Party and State leaders and visited and wished a happy New Year to a number of former Party and State leaders.

President Vo Van Thuong also offered incense to commemorate General Tran Dai Quang, President from 2016 to 2018.
On the occasion of the New Year, President Vo Van Thuong visited former President Tran Duc Luong and former President Nguyen Xuan Phuc. President Vo Van Thuong wished the former leaders and their families good health, happiness and longevity; and hoped that they would continue to devote their efforts, intelligence and experience to contribute more to the development of the country.
