Seize the opportunity to interview the General Director of Ford Vietnam

Ford is a very famous brand in the world. For Hai Duong, this is also one of the 7 key enterprises of the province, contributing greatly to the provincial budget. Therefore, the event of Ford Vietnam receiving the First Class Labor Medal was promoted with attention.

Before the event, I knew that the President of Ford Motor Company's International Markets Division and the General Director of Ford Vietnam would attend. They spoke English. I proactively proposed to the department head to interview these two people because this was a rare opportunity. Interviewing them would increase the appeal of the event's content, as well as help readers have a more comprehensive view of Ford Vietnam in general and the Ford Hai Duong Factory in particular.

To prepare for the interview, I and the Ford Vietnam communications department developed questions in English, arranged the time, and anticipated some possible situations to proactively handle.

About 10 minutes before the interview, I memorized every question and every detail so that the interview would go smoothly and be as effective as possible. However, this was the first time I interviewed a foreigner with a high position in a globally renowned multinational corporation, so I was still very nervous. I told myself how to both make the interview effective and create professionalism when working with foreigners. If I did well in the interview, it would contribute to creating a good impression from them for Hai Duong Newspaper.

About 2 minutes before the interview, I took a deep breath, then walked to the interview position and started my task. Seeing me coming forward for the interview, many reporters from the Central newspapers and radio stations also came forward. But because I took the initiative early, I was able to occupy the center position. After a few minutes of filming, the 2 interview clips of the President of the International Market Division of Ford Motor Company and the General Director of Ford Vietnam were completed according to the planned script, with very good image and sound quality.
