Chi Linh simultaneously elected village and residential area chiefs on July 21.

This is the second time Chi Linh City has organized simultaneous elections for village and residential area chiefs throughout the city.

Implementing the model of unifying the position of Party cell secretary and village and residential area head, 100% of the recommended personnel are Party members. Up to now, villages and residential areas in the area have completed personnel preparation work.

The Chi Linh City Party Committee has requested grassroots party committees to review the current team of Party cell secretaries who are also village and residential area heads to identify and grasp the cases that meet the conditions, standards, and prestige to continue to be re-elected; proactively prepare additional and replacement cadres in places where there are changes. Do a good job of political and ideological work, motivate and encourage cadres and party members who are capable of participating in tasks in villages and residential areas.

Organizing simultaneous elections for village and residential area chiefs throughout the city aims to create a direct, widespread, and unified democratic movement for voters to exercise their right to mastery and actively go to the polls.

The People's Committee of Chi Linh City organized training on election procedures for village and residential area chiefs for the 2024-2026 term for members of election teams throughout the city.
