Cam Giang dialogues on social insurance policy with preschool teachers

On October 14, Cam Giang District Social Insurance coordinated with the District Department of Education and Training to organize propaganda and dialogue on issues related to social insurance and health insurance policies with workers in the preschool education sector.

The dialogue was attended by about 300 officials, teachers and workers from all 17 public kindergartens in the area.

The propaganda content focuses on the latest mechanisms and policies on compulsory and voluntary social insurance and health insurance, from subjects, procedures, collection rates, collection methods... to basic benefits such as retirement, medical examination and treatment, death benefits... Introducing forms of health insurance for households; payment methods, especially one-time payment for the remaining years not exceeding 10 years; support policies of the State and Hai Duong province for participants in social insurance and voluntary health insurance.

In Cam Giang district, there are currently 53,532 people participating in compulsory social insurance and health insurance, reaching 61.5% of the total number of employees in units and enterprises, the highest in the province. However, the rate of employees in the district participating in voluntary social insurance and health insurance is still low, only reaching 2.63% and is on a downward trend. In particular, the group of relatives of employees in the preschool education sector in general is still low. In Cam Giang district alone, there are 260/683 cases of spouses of employees in the preschool education sector who have not participated in voluntary social insurance and health insurance.
