The Department of Health coordinates with relevant authorities to detect and handle violations of cosmetic facilities that impersonate hospitals, have ambiguous expertise, and are not qualified to operate illegally, causing many consequences for society and the health sector, affecting people's health.
Violations must be handled according to the provisions of law and the Government's Decree regulating administrative sanctions for violations in the health sector.
The Ministry of Health also requested that the Departments of Health continue to strengthen inspection, supervision, and legal education for medical examination and treatment facilities to strictly carry out medical examination and treatment in accordance with regulations.
Previously, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment received information from the media about many cosmetic facilities impersonating hospitals, with ambiguous expertise. Many unqualified facilities are still operating "underground", and many beauty facilities impersonate major hospitals to "deceive" customers. Many people are victims of these fake facilities.
