Adding leaders of 3 departments to the Council for appraisal of tasks and urban planning projects

On the morning of March 6, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province held its first monthly meeting. Comrade Luu Van Ban, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province chaired the meeting.

Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Quan, Nguyen Minh Hung and leaders of departments and branches attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the leader of the Department of Construction presented a report on the consolidation of the Council for appraisal of tasks and construction planning projects and urban planning under the approval authority of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province after rearranging the organization of specialized agencies under the People's Committee of the province.

The Department of Construction proposed that the Chairman of the Appraisal Council be the Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Luu Van Ban, and the Vice Chairman be the Director of the Department of Construction.

The council members are leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Provincial Fatherland Front; directors of the Departments of Finance, Agriculture and Environment, Culture, Sports and Tourism, Industry and Trade; directors of the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board; representatives of the Provincial Military Command, Provincial Police, Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department and Rescue; Chairmen of the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities where there is a planning and representatives of professional social organizations.

Based on the nature and scale of each specific construction plan, the Council Chairman invites representatives of leaders of other departments, branches and sectors and review experts in the specialized field to participate as council members.

The standing body of the council is the Department of Construction.

Concluding this content, Mr. Luu Van Ban, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested to add members to the council, including directors of the Departments of Education and Training, Science and Technology, and Health.

Comrade Luu Van Ban emphasized that the development and appraisal of plans cannot be separated from factors related to education, health, science and technology. At the same time, the impact of the plan on these areas must be carefully considered during appraisal.

The comrades added to the appraisal council will play a role in advising and evaluating tasks and projects of construction planning and urban planning under the approval authority of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee.

Regarding some general planning projects and zoning plans in Chi Linh City and Cam Giang District, Comrade Luu Van Ban proposed to temporarily suspend consideration until there are new policies and instructions from the Central Government on the arrangement of administrative units for integration and updating accordingly.
