The Ministry of Public Security recruits 2,350 full-time university students for 8 affiliated universities and academies.

The 2025 Ministry of Public Security assessment exam is scheduled to take place on July 5 and 6. On July 5, candidates will complete exam registration procedures and on July 6, candidates will take the official exam.

This year, the Ministry of Public Security will recruit 2,350 full-time university students for 8 affiliated universities and academies with 3 methods: based on the assessment test scores organized by the Ministry of Public Security, direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Public Security, and admission combined with international certificate scores and assessment test scores.

Compared to last year, the assessment test of the Ministry of Public Security this year has been adjusted to suit the new general education program such as increasing from 2 to 4 test codes, all candidates must take an essay test in literature, a multiple-choice test in math, and adding an optional multiple-choice test.

In 2024, this exam includes two exam codes, CA1 and CA2, each code has two parts: multiple choice (natural sciences, social sciences and English) and essay. Code CA1, candidates will take multiple choice and essay tests in math. Code CA2, candidates will take multiple choice and essay tests in literature. Accordingly, candidates taking code CA1 will not have to take the literature test, candidates taking code CA2 will not have to take the math test.

Admission is divided into groups of majors, each group of majors is regulated by admission combination with the following exam codes:

+ Security and police professional groups recruit candidates with the combination A00, A01, C03, D01, K21, K22 and exams CA1, CA2, CA3, CA4.

+ The cyber security and high-tech crime prevention industry recruits candidates from the A00, A01, K01, K20 combination and the CA1, CA2 exams.

+ The Party and State Administration Construction sector recruits candidates from the A01, C00, C03, D01, K21, K22 groups and CA1, CA4 exams.

+ Engineering - logistics group recruits with combination A00, A01, D01, K01, K20 and exam CA1, CA2.

+ Fire prevention and rescue industry recruits for combination A00, A01, D01, D07 and CA1, CA2 exams. In which, for combination D01, high school transcripts must have a total score of 7 points or higher in physics or chemistry.

+ English language major recruits with combination A01, D01, D04, D09, D10 and exams CA1, CA2, CA3, CA4.

+ Chinese language major recruits with combination A01, D01, D04, D09, D10 and exams CA1, CA2, CA3, CA4.

+ Medical majors sent for training at the Military Medical Academy will recruit candidates based on the combination A00, A01, B00, B08, D07 and exams CA1, CA2, CA3.

+ Information technology industry recruits candidates from combination A00, A01, K01, K20 and exam CA1, CA2.
