According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the area from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen has hot and extremely hot weather, with temperatures ranging from 36-39 degrees Celsius. According to the reporter, on the afternoon of July 2, which is also the weekend, thousands of tourists flocked to Sam Son beach (Thanh Hoa) to cool off.
From 3pm to 6pm is the time when tourists go swimming the most. At the beaches, the lifeguards and beach rescuers always have to be on duty to remind and be ready to help tourists.
Most of the people who go swimming are local people in districts, towns and cities in Thanh Hoa province and tourists from the northern provinces who take advantage of the weekend to visit Sam Son.
The large number of tourists flocking to Sam Son beach has brought along services such as parking, selling soft drinks, seafood, renting floats, flying kites, etc., bringing in high income after many months of lack of customers. "This is the peak of the tourist season, after finishing exams, many families take their children on vacation. These two weekends, we have to operate at full capacity, sometimes until 10pm before we run out of customers," said Ms. Trang, an employee at the hubway along Sam Son beach.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Hoang, in the A beach area, every afternoon is always crowded with tourists. Although he has to travel 20km from Thanh Hoa city to Sam Son beach, he still takes advantage of the two weekends to bring his family down here to swim, enjoy the breeze, and avoid the sun.
"It's unbelievable, the whole beach is so wide that people are packed in to swim. Because I brought my child with me, I only dared to let him sit on the shore. The beach was so crowded, I was afraid he would get lost while swimming," Mr. Hoang shared.
The weather is extremely hot, so Sam Son beach is a popular destination for locals and nearby tourists.
In the evening, when the temperature drops, more and more people and tourists flock here.
