The Politburo mobilized, assigned and appointed comrade Duong Van An to hold the position of Secretary of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee.

On March 18, in Vinh Phuc, comrade Truong Thi Mai, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Commission chaired a working session with the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Executive Committee to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.

Accordingly, the Politburo decided to transfer, assign and appoint comrade Duong Van An, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Truong Thi Mai, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Commission, congratulated comrade Duong Van An on being trusted by the Politburo to mobilize and appoint him to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Affirming that comrade Duong Van An is a capable and experienced cadre, well-trained, matured from the grassroots, and has held many positions assigned by the Party.

During his work, in any position, he always made efforts and made positive contributions to the locality, agency and unit. I believe that in his new position, he will continue to promote his experience, capacity and courage, together with the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to build internal solidarity, effectively handle existing problems and difficulties, and strive to achieve good results in the targets and tasks of the Resolution of the 17th Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Congress, in conjunction with the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

Comrade Truong Thi Mai requested comrades in the Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee, leaders at all levels and sectors in Vinh Phuc province to continue to uphold the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, and exemplary behavior with comrade Duong Van An to stabilize the internal situation, focus on leadership and direction to well implement the local political tasks.

Emphasizing that Vinh Phuc is a land rich in cultural traditions, the origin of innovative, creative and pioneering thinking, after nearly 30 years of re-establishment, Vinh Phuc province has achieved many achievements in all fields, becoming one of the leading localities in the country in socio-economic development.

Thanking the trust of the Politburo, the Central Party Secretariat and personally comrade Truong Thi Mai, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Commission, for assigning her to a new position, Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Secretary Duong Van An promised to always be exemplary, responsible, practice and make every effort to fulfill the assigned duties and tasks, together with the Provincial Party Executive Committee to promote the tradition of the homeland, focus on consolidating and building a clean and strong Party organization and political system, improving the leadership capacity of the Party organization and the qualifications and qualities of the contingent of cadres and party members; unite, overcome shortcomings and limitations to successfully complete the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress.
