Comrade Nguyen Thai Hoc was appointed to the position of Acting Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee.

Also attending were Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac and leaders of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, the Central Inspection Commission, the Central Organization Commission, the Central Party Office; the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Executive Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, Secretaries of District Party Committees, Party Committees of Central units located in the area.

At the Conference, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Mai Van Chinh announced Decision No. 1156-QDNS/TW dated March 15, 2024 of the Politburo. Specifically, comrade Nguyen Thai Hoc ceased to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee, was transferred and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Acting Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

On behalf of the Politburo, Standing member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai presented the Decision and congratulated comrade Nguyen Thai Hoc on his new responsibility. The Standing member of the Secretariat assessed that Lam Dong is a mountainous province in the Central Highlands, with a large population of ethnic minorities. The Party and people of Lam Dong have made many efforts to rise up and achieved many positive results in socio-economic development, ensuring national security and defense, building the Party and the political system. However, the province still has a number of issues that need attention and focused direction. These are developing infrastructure, especially in rural areas and ethnic minority areas in sync with socio-economic development; implementing the goal of social progress and equity, reducing the gap between rich and poor... Recently, a number of key leaders of Lam Dong have seriously violated Party discipline and State laws. This incident not only requires individuals to bear responsibility but also negatively affects the image of the Party Committee. This is a profound lesson for the Standing Committee, the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee as well as all Party committees, Party organizations, cadres and Party members in the province.

Comrade Truong Thi Mai congratulated the Acting Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee and expressed her belief that after taking on the new responsibility, she will quickly join the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to overcome difficulties, unite, strive, strengthen leadership and direction to achieve the highest results in implementing the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress in conjunction with the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, Resolution 23-NQ/TU of the Politburo on the direction of socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in the Central Highlands region until 2030, with a vision to 2045; achieve the goal by 2030 of becoming a fairly comprehensively developed province of the country, by 2045 Lam Dong will become a centrally-run city.

Comrade Nguyen Thai Hoc respectfully thanks the Politburo, the Central Party Secretariat, and the Central Organization Committee for their trust and assignment of new responsibilities and tasks. He determined to strive, train, and maintain himself well, unite and bond with comrades and brothers in a truly affectionate manner, live and work to the fullest in accordance with what is right and just, stay away from wrong and bad things to build and develop the socio-economy together with the cadres, soldiers, and people here.

Comrade Nguyen Thai Hoc, born in 1972, hometown in Hoa Quang Bac commune, Phu Hoa district, Phu Yen province; received basic training, has a professional qualification of Doctor of Political Science; Bachelor of Law, Bachelor of Politics. He has held many positions: In 2002, he was Secretary of Phu Yen Provincial Youth Union; in July 2006, the Standing Committee of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee transferred and appointed him to the position of Secretary of Song Hinh District Party Committee. In June 2011, he was a member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Phu Yen province. In July 2013, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee transferred and appointed him to the position of Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee. In January 2015, he was a member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee.
