Bac Giang has a new Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee born in 1980

On the morning of January 2, the People's Council of Bac Giang province held the 23rd session (special session) of the 19th term, 2021 - 2026 term to carry out personnel work according to its authority.

The Provincial People's Council considers and elects the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

With 69/69 votes in favor (100% of delegates present), Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee was elected to hold the position of Chairwoman of the 19th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026; Mr. Nguyen Viet Oanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Speaking at the meeting, Party Central Committee member and Bac Giang Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Gau emphasized that the Provincial Party Executive Committee requested Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong and Mr. Nguyen Viet Oanh to continue to practice steadfast and firm political will, and be absolutely loyal to Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought and the Party's renewal policy.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong and Mr. Nguyen Viet Oanh promoted the responsibility of setting an example; thoroughly grasping and strictly implementing the Party's Charter, principles, resolutions, directives, and the State's policies and laws; actively fighting against signs of degradation in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and signs of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party; and fighting against corruption, waste, and negativity.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong and Mr. Nguyen Viet Oanh carefully studied the provisions of the law, working regulations, clearly defined their own authority according to the law and the collective authority; promptly developed individual work plans to effectively direct and operate work right from the first days and months of taking office; together with the collective Party Committee, leaders of the People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee, they united, unanimously strengthened discipline, order, innovation, dynamism and creativity to effectively perform assigned tasks; best served the people and businesses; wholeheartedly and wholeheartedly for the highest goal of the common development of the Provincial Party Committee; for the prosperity, happiness and peace of the people.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong has held many positions at Ha Bac Trading Company; Bac Ninh Town People's Procuracy; Bac Giang Provincial People's Procuracy; Office of the National Assembly Delegation and People's Council of Bac Giang Province.

She was a member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang City; Vice Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, then Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, and delegate of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term.

On December 27, 2024, at the conference of the 19th Bac Giang Provincial Party Executive Committee, she was elected to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
