Evaluating the 2022 Literature and Arts Awards, Associate Professor, Dr. Do Hong Quan, Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, said: The annual Literature and Arts Awards are increasingly expanding in scale, gathering the participation of a large number of artists across the country, increasingly having the highest selection, convergence, and accuracy in quality.

According to Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations Do Hong Quan, the Award Council of the Literature and Arts Associations has seriously screened and assessed works right from the grassroots level, so the quality of works submitted for the award of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations has been increasingly improved, reflecting both the quality and the nature of the Union: gathering and uniting artists, discovering and nurturing young talents, and the next generation of creative literary and artistic workers throughout the country.

Regarding the quality of the awards, Associate Professor, Dr. Do Hong Quan said that the Central Specialized Literature and Arts Associations and the provincial and municipal Literature and Arts Associations sent their best works to the awards. The Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations in 2022 selected the best works of the year, which were published, exhibited or announced, performed, and were loved by the public and only mentioned in the press.

"The authors' literary and artistic works have demonstrated their exploration and innovation, but the content and themes still closely follow the life and moral traditions of the nation. In particular, many works touch on current national topics such as the issue of protecting border and island sovereignty. The Organizing Committee of the Award hopes that in 2023, it will receive full entries from all 10 Central Specialized Associations and 63 Provincial and Municipal Literature and Arts Associations across the country," said Mr. Do Hong Quan.
