Tesla electric super sedan worth 10 billion appears, similar to the car of super scammer Mr Pips

In Vietnam, in addition to popular electric car models, many tycoons are willing to spend billions of dong to buy electric car models imported from the US or Germany through private importers. Typical models include Tesla Model 3, Tesla Cybertruck, Tesla Model X, BMW iX or Ford Mustang Mach E.

Recently, a Tesla Model S appeared in Hanoi, with the license plate number 15, attracting the attention of many passersby. More specifically, this is a Model S Plaid - one of two currently in our country. According to research, both cars were imported to Vietnam through a private importer.

According to a source, the Tesla Model S Plaid is owned by an electric vehicle business in Hai Phong. When it is brought back to Vietnam in 2022, the car is rumored to be worth up to 10 billion VND, despite the government's preferential policy on special consumption tax for electric vehicles.

Compared to the regular S version, the Plaid version's appearance is not much different. The front bumper is refined, including large air vents to increase aerodynamics. It comes with a set of 5-spoke matte black rims, 21 inches in size. Hidden inside are black brake calipers and steel brake discs instead of using ceramic-carbon brake discs like high-performance cars.

Unlike the remaining red Tesla Model S Plaid of Pho Duc Nam (aka Mr. Pips, who was recently prosecuted by Cau Giay District Police for fraud), this black super sedan has fewer carbon fiber details, with only a spoiler on the luggage compartment door.

In particular, the interior of this electric car is covered with black and white leather. In the middle is a horizontal screen with a size of up to 17 inches. The entire dashboard does not have any physical buttons. The steering wheel is inspired by the Roadster supercar concept, also by Tesla.

The S Plaid is the high-performance version of the Tesla Model S. It is equipped with 3 electric motors, producing a total maximum capacity of 1,020 horsepower. Thanks to that, the electric sedan can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 1.99 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 322 km/h. With each full battery charge, the car can travel a maximum range of 560 km.

This parameter is even larger than the standard Bugatti Veyron model with 1,000 horsepower, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds but with a maximum speed of up to 407 km/h.

With a budget of 10 billion, few Vietnamese tycoons dare to spend money to buy a high-performance electric car. Instead, many people choose internal combustion engine cars such as Lamborghini Huracan, McLaren 650S or Ferrari 488, which both provide an exciting driving experience and build a better image.
