According to Motor1, Volkswagen once announced the ID.2all electric car concept with an expected price of 25,000 EUR (about26,000 USD) but has not yet been launched on the market.

Volkswagen has just revealed a new electric car, with an expected price tag even lower than the ID.2all. The model hasn’t been named yet, but Volkswagen’s sketches give us a glimpse of what it might look like.

The German automaker will unveil a new electric car concept on March 5. The car is confirmed to have a starting price of around 20,000 EUR (approx.20,800 USD) when it officially launches in 2027.

Carmoses reports that Volkswagen has filed an application to trademark “ID.EVERY1” with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). According to Motor1, this is most likely the name of Volkswagen’s low-cost electric car concept, while the commercial vehicle is likely to be called Volkswagen ID.1.

According to Motor1, the Volkswagen ID.1 will share the same MEB Small platform as its senior model, the ID.2. This platform is designed primarily for front-wheel drive vehicles.

The battery capacity of these low-cost models is not yet known, but Volkswagen estimates that the ID.2all electric concept will have a maximum range of 450 km (280 miles), according to the WLTP cycle. It can also be recharged from 10 to 80 percent in about 20 minutes.
