Up to now, the Public Security of units and localities have developed plans to implement Directive 05/CT-BCA dated June 19, 2020 of the Minister of Public Security on continuing to build a comprehensively strong district-level police force to meet the requirements and tasks of ensuring security and order in the new situation.
The police of many localities have consulted with Party committees and authorities to issue resolutions and directives on comprehensively building district-level police, thereby further strengthening the leadership role of Party committees and authorities as well as all levels and sectors in supporting and strengthening all aspects of district-level police.
By October 15, the Public Security of 63 provinces and centrally-run cities had arranged regular police officers to take on the positions of commune and town police officers (100%); the police headquarters at the grassroots level had many improvements. The regular commune and town police force has played an important role in the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic, issuing chip-embedded citizen identification cards nationwide...
In Hai Duong, the provincial police have mobilized 943 regular police officers to 188 communes and towns (100%). Up to now, construction has begun on 9 commune-level police headquarters in Hai Duong City and Chi Linh City, striving to complete and put into use by the end of December.
It is expected that from now until the end of 2021, construction of the remaining 16 projects will continue to start according to the approved project schedule to meet the material facilities to serve the work of ensuring security and order at the grassroots level.
