Setting two records at Hanoi Lotus Festival 2024

The event has the participation of 100 standard booths, displaying OCOP products, regional specialties, with event decoration miniatures, regional cuisine area; and lotus specialty product introduction area.

The Organizing Committee of the Hanoi Lotus Festival 2024 said that within the framework of the festival, it is expected to set 2 records: Green Journey "West Lake Lotus Color" - Cycling Festival around West Lake with the largest number of participants in Vietnam (7,000 people) owned by the People's Committee of Tay Ho District; the event with the largest number of people wearing traditional ao dai with lotus motifs in Vietnam (1,000 people) co-owned by the People's Committee of Tay Ho District and the Hanoi Ao Dai Heritage Club.

Notably, at the Festival, a glass portrait of Uncle Ho measuring 1.7 m x 2.5 m, made of 2 cm thick tempered glass, will be unveiled, made from 1,944 lotus photos taken from many regions.

In addition, the Hanoi Lotus Festival 2024 also includes the following activities: Workshop on Preserving and Developing Vietnamese Lotus; inauguration of the OCOP Product Introduction and Sales Center in Tay Ho District - Trinh Street; opening of the Lotus Installation Art Space Exhibition, Lotus Photo Exhibition in Vietnamese Life; survey program - conference "Upgrading service quality and connecting tourist destinations of Tay Ho District with travel agencies of Hanoi City in 2024"; music night "Trinh Cong Son and friends" ...
