With the opening of the new route, Vietnam Airlines is currently operating 49 flights per week on direct routes between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Bangkok.
To facilitate passengers traveling between Vietnam and Thailand with more diverse flight schedules, from November 29, Vietnam Airlines will operate a flight route connecting Da Nang with Don Muang Airport - the second largest airport in Bangkok.
Accordingly, Vietnam Airlines will operate this route with a frequency of 7 flights/week using Airbus A321 aircraft. Flights depart from Da Nang at 8:00 p.m. and from Don Muong airport at 5:05 a.m. every day of the week.
Currently, Vietnam Airlines operates 49 flights per week on direct routes between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Bangkok. Thailand is the destination with the highest capacity of Vietnam Airlines among its routes to Southeast Asia.
In the first nine months of 2023, the number of passengers transported on Vietnam Airlines' flights between Vietnam and Thailand increased threefold compared to the same period in 2022, showing the recovery and strong growth potential of this market.
