More than 100 collaborators attended the conference. Among them were famous journalists and artists such as: journalist Tran Mai Huong, former General Director of Vietnam News Agency; poets: Bang Viet, former Chairman of the Hanoi Literature and Arts Association; Vu Quan Phuong, former Chairman of the Poetry Council of the Vietnam Writers Association; Tran Nhuan Minh, former Chairman of the Literature and Arts Association of Quang Ninh province...

Arriving at the conference very early, contributor Vu Hoang Luyen was excited because he had not seen his friends who had worked with Hai Duong Newspaper for a long time. He said that the Covid-19 pandemic had lasted for a long time, so this meeting was very meaningful. The contributors of the local Party newspaper were able to return to their "common home" to share their experiences in writing articles. "Having worked with Hai Duong Newspaper for decades, I have seen many changes in both form and content. The newspaper has kept up with the trends of the times. Long-time contributors like us are very excited because we can also contribute a small part to the changes and development of the newspaper."

Over the past time, the Editorial Board of Hai Duong Newspaper has always identified contributors as an indispensable and very important force, helping the newspaper have more information, helping the newspaper fulfill its role as the voice of the Party Committee and people of Hai Duong.

The participation of many contributors who are professional journalists at central and local press agencies, many scientists in various fields, and famous artists has helped the newspaper to be rich in content, with a lot of in-depth and meaningful information for readers. In recent times, in addition to sending news articles to Hai Duong Newspaper, contributors working at district, town, and city radio stations have also used information on Hai Duong Newspaper to broadcast and promptly convey events, new issues, and typical advanced factors in various fields and localities, actively contributing to the task of propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws.

From 2021 to May 2022, Hai Duong Newspaper attracted nearly 550 contributors with news, articles, and photos published in the newspaper, including more than 80 regular contributors.

Contribute to the development of the newspaper

In the warm atmosphere of the meeting, many contributors expressed their joy and contributed valuable ideas to help the newspaper develop further. Contributor Nguyen Huu Phach, one of the people who worked on the first issue of Hai Duong Newspaper with the new name Hai Duong, was excited to attend the meeting. He said that in the face of the newspaper's strong changes, he will try to collaborate more actively in the coming time, trying to contribute practical ideas to help the newspaper improve and develop further.

For poet Vu Quan Phuong, Hai Duong Newspaper has been a place of close association for many years. The works published in Dong province's newspaper have become the motivation for not only the poet but also many other contributors to be more enthusiastic in composing and working. Citing the verse "Don't think that spring is over and all the flowers have fallen/Last night in the front yard, a branch of apricot blossoms" in the poem "Cáo tất thị chung" by Zen master Man Giac, poet Vu Quan Phuong affirmed that the press, including Hai Duong Newspaper, has helped elderly contributors like him see the meaning of their own works that are respectfully published in the newspapers. Poet Vu Quan Phuong hopes that Hai Duong Newspaper will publish more controversial and multi-dimensional information so that readers and contributors can have their say, thereby bringing the Party's policies and the State's policies to the people in a timely and appropriate manner.

At the conference, many contributors expressed their wish that in the coming time, in addition to prioritizing the dissemination of political and current affairs issues, Hai Duong Newspaper should maintain the arts section, expand the columns to reflect life; increase the dissemination of environmental issues and rural people's lives. Contributor Kim Chuong suggested that in the coming time, the Newspaper should open more columns, change the format of Hai Duong Newspaper on weekends... As an active contributor in the current affairs section of Hai Duong Newspaper in recent times, Mr. Duc Thanh, working at the Provincial Center for Disease Control, suggested that Hai Duong Newspaper should pay attention to suggesting current affairs topics and issues of interest for contributors to participate in writing.

Comrade Le Van Bang, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, an active contributor to the newspaper, suggested that each reporter and contributor of Hai Duong Newspaper strengthen the dissemination of the Party's resolutions, guidelines and policies. The newspaper should pay attention to selecting current issues to order contributors to write in-depth works that reflect the breath of life; and innovate further in the way of reporting news.

Journalist Tran Mai Huong believes that contributors also contribute significantly to the vitality of the newspaper, so in the coming time, Hai Duong Newspaper should increase exchanges between contributors and the editorial office, thereby building a close relationship, guiding and suggesting so that contributors can produce good works and new genres that attract readers...
