Dak Lak Provincial Police have just issued special arrest warrants for 6 suspects involved in the attack on the headquarters of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes (Cu Kuin district) that left many people injured and dead.
Today, November 30, a source said that Dak Lak Provincial Police have issued a special wanted notice for 6 suspects for the crime of "terrorism".
The wanted subjects include: Y Quynh Bdap (31 years old, residing in Krong Ana district, Dak Lak province), Y Chanh Byă (40 years old), Y But Eban (39 years old), Y Nien Eya (45 years old, all residing in Tam Thang commune, Cu Jut district, Dak Nong province). Y Chik Nie (55 years old, residing in Ea Yong commune, Krong Pak district, Dak Lak province) and Y Mut Mlo (63 years old, residing in Pong Drang town, Krong Buk district, Dak Lak province).
Special wanted decision for 6 defendants
Previously, in August 2023, Dak Lak Provincial Police prosecuted the above 6 defendants for "terrorism". Through verification, the police determined that the defendants were not present in the locality.
In the early morning of June 11, a group of people used guns, petrol bombs... to attack the headquarters of two communes, Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur, Cu Kuin district.
The attack killed four police officers, the Secretary of Ea Ktur Commune and the Chairman of Ea Tieu Commune; three civilians were killed and two police officers were seriously injured.
In addition, the group also burned down the office and destroyed many other properties at the headquarters of the People's Committees of the two communes.
Immediately after the incident, the Ministry of Public Security directed Dak Lak Provincial Police and related forces to quickly arrest the group of subjects.
A subject involved in the attack on the commune headquarters was arrested.
Up to now, Dak Lak Provincial Police have arrested and prosecuted 96 people on many charges such as: "Terrorism against the people's government"; "Failure to report crimes" and "Organizing and brokering for others to illegally exit, enter or stay in Vietnam".
