Vietnam's first space science center overloaded with tourists during September 2nd holiday

The Binh Dinh Center for Scientific Discovery and Innovation (Ghenh Rang Ward, Quy Nhon City) is the first space science center in Vietnam. During the September 2nd holiday, this center attracted a large number of visitors to visit and explore.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tri Thuc (from Dai Loc, Quang Nam province) and her family chose Quy Nhon as a place to visit and relax. The Center for Scientific Discovery and Innovation of Binh Dinh province is one of the destinations chosen by Ms. Thuc's family.

“This is my first time coming to the center. There are many interesting things here, many intellectual games that provide a lot of useful scientific knowledge for my child. We will definitely come back during the next holidays,” Ms. Thuc shared.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Ha, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Binh Dinh province, said that in order to serve the people and tourists who come to visit the center during the holidays, the Center for Science Discovery and Innovation of Binh Dinh province has increased its operating hours, increased the number of tickets and movie screenings in the space theater.

However, the number of visitors booking tickets online and coming to buy tickets directly to visit is quite large. From the first day of the holiday, the center has sold out all the tickets.

“We have increased the operating hours and increased the number of screenings in the space theater from 4 to 10 during the holiday. However, the number of visitors is very large, the center has sold out all the tickets since the beginning of the day, and the center is currently overloaded. On average, during this holiday, the center welcomes an average of 800 to 1,000 visitors per day,” said Mr. Ha.
